We’re here to talk about the best show on television. No, not Game of Thrones (although the gratuitous sex and dragons are A+). We’re talking about It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
Sunny is the only show on TV that makes me laugh out loud, and I’m not just saying that because they featured my twitter handle last season. As cheap or deplorable as the show might appear to the Frasier crowd, it’s actually achieved more poignant moments than its sitcom counterparts in half the amount of episodes (see: The Gang Turns Black, A Cricket’s Tale from season 12).
So what better way to draw attention to the best show on TV than to mash it up with the series people think is the best? The folks over at Screen Junkies have combined the story of Jon Snow and the Night King from Game of Thrones with the classic IASIP tune, The Nightman Cometh, and it’s a fun ride.
For the record, both GOT and Sunny are amazing shows, but only one of the series will air episodes in 2018. Do yourselves a favor and get caught up It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia before season 13 premieres next year.
